Help with drop down menus

In cell B1 i have a drop down menu of 4, n/a. In C1 I have a drop down menu of 4,3,2,1,n/a. What I would like to have is is, if the user chooses n/a in cell c1, cell b1 would change to n/a as well.

This is a scoring sheet. The user still needs to be able to choose 4,3,2,1 but if they choose n/a it sets the value of b1 to n/a also.

Are you referring to data validation lists? If so then you won't do this without a macro.

Thanks, I thought that. I have a marcro ready but cannot work out how to attach it to the value n/a in cell c1.
