Removing zero from a fractional number

I have a need to remove the zero from a fractional number, such as .2. Right now, it displays as 0.2. Is there a way to make it read without the "0"?

Re: Removing zero from a fractional number

You can try a custom format of #.### however whole numbers (1) would appear as 1.
    (modify # per requirements)

If as implied you're using XL2007 and you wish to have different formats for whole / fractional then you can use Conditional Format rules based on MOD of number (with appropriate Number Format)
Prior to XL2007 you can not.
