    oldest to newest

In the attached file I have some data. I'd like to transform its order in a way that the first date would be the last date and all the columns on its side will follow..
How could i do it? i tried sor oldest to newest but it seems that its mixing my data

    Thanks in advance,

    Hidai

    Re: oldest to newest

In what way is it mixing up the data?

If you select the entire range and Sort column A oldest to newest (keep my data has a header unchecked), then it seems to sort fine.

Notice that for each date, it is keeping the group together, in that the oldest time is the first record for each date, and so the oldest time shows up at top of each record after sorting, that is why you are not seeing the last row at the top after sorting.

Yeah thats exactly what i mean by mixing up the data.. after sorting, the dates are ordered from the oldest to the newest which is good but as you say my problem that within each data the oldest time appears on the top whereas I want i to appear on the bottom.. could it be done?

    Re: oldest to newest

I have Excel 2007 but when I go to a custom sort, it allows me to pick "oldest to newest" for Col A and "Smallest to biggest" for column B. Does 2003 not allow that?

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

Add a sort level and sort column B smallest to biggest.
