    Smile Formula for interval prices

Dear www friends! My first message in this forum! I hope you can help me solve a problem I´ve got.

I'm creating a spreadsheet for calculating working time for production of laminated wood panels and I´ve a problem. For example if I qoute 20 boards I want board 11 and up to have standard production time rate. Boards 1-10 should have higher production times according to rules in attached pic. I hope I´ve made myself clear.

    Many thanks from Sweden!

For tiered calculations such as this SUMPRODUCT is often useful:

modify delimiters per your own locale, I suspect:

    DO,
do you have any documentation about the backslash separators? ( for European settings)

Not sure I follow ... the backslash is the "column" separator for that locale, eg:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    would return 4 (2nd "row" & 2nd "column")

PS. At risk of a hijacking infraction I think

    DO,

Please update my excel file and put the values in it. I cannot get the code working and don´t really understand which value to change and how to change it.

    Many many thanks!

    Re: Formula for interval prices

For future reference it generally helps if you outline the specifics of "not working".

If you received a #NAME? error then that would imply you need to translate the function (PRODUKTSUMMA rather than SUMPRODUCT)

If you could not enter the formula at all (either) then that implies an odd delimiter issue.

See attached which will auto translate. As a general rule I prefer people add formulae themselves.
