Cell pointer moves down when hitting Enter

Normally in Excel, when you enter data in a cell, then hit Enter, the cell pointer moves down one cell.
Back in earlier versions of Excel, (Office 2002 I think) one was able to change that behavior.
One could set the pointer to move either up, down, left, right or stay put.
Now I have Office 2007 and I can't figure out how to make the cell pointer stay put.
Does anyone know how to do this in Office 2007?

Hi

File, Options, Advanced then select direction to move cursor.

Thank you for the reply.I went to try it out but, unlike the page I'm on now which has File, Edit, View, etc. across the top, my Excel (XP Professional 2007) has a rather tall ribbon which has Home, Insert, Page Layout, etc. There in no File tab.

Hit the Office 'button' at left end of ribbon
Click on Excel Options (at bottom)
Now click on Advanced (in left pane)
It is the first option in resulting right pane: After pressing Enter, move selection
