I have an Excel 2007spreadsheet with 1000+ records - names, addresses, email address etc. The information is downloaded on a regular basis from an external source.
The email address fields are not formatted as an hyperlink. To do that manually I go the first email address field, hit F2, then enter. I repeat that through the whole data.
This continuous action should be made for a macro. I record the macro following the above steps for, say 5 records. Then I go to record six and invoke the macro. The macro copies the information from record 1 into 6,2 into7 3 into 8 and so on.
The macro recording has copied the information rather than just the key strokes.
Is there a way to do what I want?
