Unhappy Sort & Filter Button Disappears When I Select a Whole Row

    Hello,

A strange thing is happening. I'm using Excel 2007. I have a database of customer complaints I'm trying to filter, but as soon as I click on a whole row or column the Sort & Filter button goes gray. If I click on an individual cell it comes back into color and the filters appear, but then they'll only filter the first 98 rows, not all of the data (190 rows). Any ideas?

Thanks for your time and help!

    Tom

    Hey whattheheck (pun?)

Do you have a blank row at row 191? When you click in a cell and sort, it uses what it believes is the table you have clicked on. The end of a table is a blank row or blank column. If you can't find a blank, try to unhide all rows and columns.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

Everything's blank from Row 191 down. What's weird is, if I click on a cell below row 99, say 110, the filters appear on Row 90. If I click on a row above Row 90 the filters appear on Row 1 as they should. If I select all of Row 1, the Find & Select button goes gray, but if I select a cell in Row 1, say A1, it re-appears. But then will only filter through row 90. Just really weird.

I just copied and pasted the data from one workbook to another and now it works fine. Go figure. Seems I got if fixed, thanks for your help.
