Help with a Formula to Populate one Cell Based on the Contents of A range of Cells

I am hoping someone may be able to help me with a formula. I am attaching a little example of what I am looking for. I would like a formula in cell G2 that will add any of the contents in the range of cells B3 to B5 IF any of the cells in the range of cells A3 - A5 are "Prenatla Screening".

I have been playing around trying to create this formula but am having no luck at all. I am in over my head.

Anyone help is most apprecated! Thanks so much in advance.

You can use a SUMIF formula e.g.

    =SUMIF(A3:A5,"Prenatal Screening",B3:B5)

Make sure that the entries in column A are correctly spelt otherwise you won't get the correct sum. One way to ensure that is to have a dropdown list to choose from in column A......

This is perfect! I did have the spelling wrong so I corrected that. I typed up the example quickly.

Thanks so much for your help.

Silly question but how do I flag this as solved? It has been awhile since I posted on here.

I figured out how to flag it as solved! Yay!
