    duplicating data

    Hi, I am new so bear with me, i don't know what ive done but , When i enter data into 3 cells in my current worksheet it duplicates it into every workbook i have , ? what have i done wrong

    Perhaps you have multiple sheets selected.

    Right-click on any tab and see if there is an option to Ungroup sheets.
    Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Would multiple sheets not just affect the one document ,? because this is affecting all my Excel workbooks. But thanks for the info, i will try tomorrow when i get back to work

    It doesn't affect all documents... I can't picture what you are saying is happening.. try closing all down and retry.. something ain't right if you type in one workbook and all workbooks are affected... unless those other workbooks have formulas directly pointing to the cell(s) you are typing in.

    I'll let you know better tomorrow when i have time to see if your suggestion works ,this problem arose late on today at work and i didn't have a lot of time to troubleshoot it .but i'll let you know what's up properly when i get back to work.
