Saving the original version of invoice

    Hi,

I have made up a blank invoice with company name, address, etc, and columns and headings for products, prices etc.
The problem I have is when I try to save the invoice I have filled out I lose the original version and have to make another one each time.
How can I save the customer's invoice as well as my blank invoice ?

    Thanks,

    Mickmac

Re: Saving the original version of invoice

I can't see why have a problem. Many alternatives
Save a copy of the new invoice
Save the master invoice as a template (*.xlt)

I have several invoice programs that I have written & never need to save a copy, everything is stored in a database & copy invoices easily produced
    Hope that helps.

    Thanks royUK,

I was not aware that I could save my blank invoices as a template. I clicked on the link in your last post and followed the tutorial and have worked it out.

    Thanks again,
