    Graph Issue

    Hi All,

I'm trying to create a graph in Excel and am trying to reference three separate tables to do so. What I am trying to create is a histogram but using the chart wizard it only lets me do half of what I want. If you choose 'Chart Type--> Column', I need to produce both the 'Stacked Column' and the 'Clustered Column'. The clustered column represents the data from 3 tables while the stacked portion represents 2 columns of data within an individual table. If I choose 'Stacked Column', it lets me specify the range of data from the two columns. In that script can I add the ranges from the other tables and end up with the combination of both graphs?

    Hi
If you want some series from other sheets then In step 2 /4 of wizard click series and add as many series as you want from any sheet.
batter if you upload a sample sheet.

Or on completed chart right click on chart area and select source data , then series

    Regards

    Hi,

So far that is just letting me do one or the other but not both.

    Sinclair Sinclair
    Grilse Salmon
    Released Released

    36 9
    68 34
    86 27
    51 12
    74 29

    Palisades Palisades
    Grilse Salmon
    Released Released

    86 21
    153 27
    96 23
    106 22
    130 44

Using the above data, I want to take the data in the first table and show column A (grilse) with column B (salmon) on top of it (one bar of the histogram). The data for the second table should be touching it in the same format. I should mention here too that each row represents a year so the end result would be something like this (except with bars):

    9 21
    36 86
    Year 1
