Question Dropdown List from Another Worksheet

    Hi,

I'm using Excel 2003, but could use 2007 to.

I'm seeking a way to have a drop down list that references or pulls data from another worksheet.

    How can this be done?

    Thanks

Cool Re: Dropdown List from Another Worksheet

You need to select the range of data you want in the drop down box and name it as a range. On selected the cells click the "name box" this is the window on the left where you normally only see the cell reference (A1) for example. Enter a name for your range and finish by pressing enter.
When you create the drop down box, in the source section either type in = your range name or press F3 and paste the name from there.

    Wow!!

That was easy.... I knew it was something relatively simple. I was trying to insert the worksheet name to. Apparently, I don't need to do that.

    Thanks
