Red face Check boxes in whole column

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to find out if there's a way i can add check boxes to an entire column in one go, rather than painstakingly adding one by one.

Also, is there a way you can make the check box fit itself to the size of the cell?

    Thanks!

Re: Check boxes in whole column

    Hi Alan,

My suggestion is don't use check boxes. Why not simply have a row of cells that you can have an X or nothing in that will do the same thing?

I have a double click event macro that will put an x in a cell or take it away. See below.

hope this helps - it is just a lot of extra effort dealing with checkboxes when values in cells is much easier.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
