Excel 2007 : Date reminder email to Outlook

Hi , I have tried to research this on the forum and cannot find anything that I can really use.

I have a simple spreadsheet with various dates on it when things need to be done . Is there a simple way of arranging an automatic email , without having to open the spreadsheet , to remind me to take appropriate action .

Im not very good at VBA .

Just curious...why wouldn't you use the date reminders option in Outlook?

I was hoping not to have to input the data twice .... I have to send the spreadsheet as a report to my client ...
