    Question Opening an xlsm file

    Hi

    Excel 2007 xlsm question:-

I need to open a macro enabled excel file remotely and am having some problems.
I can open it by logging in to the server myself and double clicking it, the macros then run Ok, but if I try to open it with say VB, such as using a script like :-

Please Login or Register to view this content.

The script runs Ok, and it seems to open the xlsm file (as I can see a copy of the file preceded by ~ open on the server) and I can see Excel open in Task manager, but NO macros run.

I have enabled macros in the workbook and allowed VB to run (as it does when I normally double click it) but why do the macros not run when i open it this way?

    Any help appreciated.
