New here and new to Excel.
I'm just wondering if what I want to do is even possible?
Is it possible to select a cell on a sheet that gives you additional information on a different sheet.
For example, if I have someone's name in cell D2 (Lets say, 'John Smith') is it possible to click D2 and get additional information about John Smith on a seperate sheet?
I have a table on Sheet 1 that gives me an invoice number, date of sale, product, brand, and warranty info. But I would like to be able to click a specific persons name and view their mailing address, phone number, email address, etc... preferably on a different sheet.
Is there a way to do this through excel? If so, can someone point me in the right direction?
