    Relative Linking XLS to PPT

    Hello-

I'm trying to link charts from an XLS file to a PPT file. But when I move the files to a new directory, the links are all broken (there are a lot of them). I then have to manually relink.

Is there a way to link the XLS data so that as long as the XLS file is next to the PPT file, it will always work?

    Office version 2003.

    Thanks!

Re: Relative Linking XLS to PPT

Hello- This is how I create the link and it creates absolute links which break on network drives and when directories are changed. Looking for a way to prevent this using relative linking.

    Thanks!
