Using cell values as a heading

I have a worksheet with 4 columns of data. The first two are text, the last two are numeric. Here's a sample of how it's arranged:

There are several duplicate values in the first row which I want to be able to use as a group heading for the rest of the data, much like you can do in Access reports (though I find their layout options very unflexible). So I'd like to have it looking something like this:

I was thinking the steps that need to be taken are to delete all duplicate values from the first column, and for rows that have only one group heading, a blank row could be inserted below it. After that the other 3 columns could be moved down by one and moved left. Is there a more efficient way? Regardless I'd like to know how to achieve this.

    Try this

Assuming your data begins in row 1 and has no header row

    Hope this helps
