    New Rows when New data is pasted - Static Cells

    Hi all,

    I have posted many times, but maybe this time is the charm.

    I am having trouble with users inputting text next to data that is calculating. The problem happens when new data gets pasted over the old data. New rows are added, leaving the users' text to be mis-alligned with the wrong calculations.

    Basically, new rows are added when the new data is pasted, but the users' text doesn't stay with its original calculated row. Is there some formula or macro that can fix this problem?

    Appreciated in advance,

    Zack

    Re: Countless Posting, Still Need Help!

    You have my attention but I dont fully understand what you mean????
    Have you an example attachment of before and and after editing so I can work out a fix for you?

    Also, change the title on your thread, its against forum rules and will earn you an infraction. It should be something constuctive about the problem you are experiencing with excel

    Re: Countless Posting, Still Need Help!

    Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
    To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
    Hope that helps.

    Opps = should have f5'd!
    @ Zack you should check the rules and change your title thread.

    @ Mr Pro - you should not really post a soultion before the thread title is changed as this will not benefit other users.

    Any queries pm a mod.
