    Excel Table Delete Duplicates Leaving Most Recent Entry

    I have a table of payroll data generated from another worksheet. (Please see attached)

    I wish to remove duplicates entries based on the date and name of the persons involved - Keeping the latest entry. There is no timestamp in each record / row.

    The delete duplicate function in excel works well, but always deletes the entries after the first duplicate found.....Thus always leaves the origional entry. In my case this is incorrect, with the later updated entry showing the correct figures. I wish to retain the latest entry and delete all previous duplicates.

    As an example a persons payroll is calculated on a given date, later to be found to be incorrect and updated with new figures (which appear at the bottom of the table). A new set of data (for all staff is entered at the base of the table). I would like a macro to be able to retain the latest entries (at the bottom) and delete all previous duplicates based on date and name of the person.
