Does anyone know how to select specific data points on a chart? I want to add a trendline that fits only to the first 5 or so data points.
Does anyone know how to select specific data points on a chart? I want to add a trendline that fits only to the first 5 or so data points.
A trend line is based on ALL points in a series.
If you want a trend line on only selected points you need to create a new series with just those points. Then add a trend line to that. The reduced data point series can be formatted so it is not shown
