Unhappy Choosing The Columns in Pivot Table by Menu

    Hi,

(First of all I am sorry if this has been discussed in the forum earlier, I have been trying searching for last half an hour but couldn't manage to find any help.)

Anyways, I have a raw data sheet and I am making a Pivot table from it.

    Breif Summary is:

Sales Company (SCO) in Column A
    Material in Column B
Then the normal data from column G to H.

    Now from M to T

I have the Invnetory (Inv) & Production (Prd) for four plants (BCN, WCZ, FSK & SUK)

Now in Pivot I want to give user a choice to select Inv & Prd for one plant which ever he/she selects.
[The without goinging in the Field Settings of Pivot Table]

    Any possibility of doinging that?

I have attached the sheet with the message.

Can you reorganize your raw data so you can add the INV and PRD columns to the report filter, per plant?

    Hi

I think the attached file will do what you want.

I renamed the 8 entries in cells M4:T4 to make them unique.

I have added a selection box above the page fields in your file, where the user can select the set of data they want - I called it Company, but change name to suit.

There is then event code which runs from their selection, to remove all previous selections of the 8 columns of data, and then inserts the 2 columns that are relevant to company concerned.
