    wrong display of a formula

I have a table in excel2010 with 800,000 lines in which certain columns have formulas. The problem is that at some point, the formula shows "VALUE" , but if I try to see the result using the F9 key, everything is ok.

I had this kind of problem in the past and its resolved by itself.

What can I do to resolved this problem?

    Thank you

    Hello,

Do you have calculation set to manual by any chance? It may well be that with a workbook of this size, calculation has been set to "manual", so the workbook does not re-calculate with every cell change. Set it to "automatic" instead.

Check File > Options > Formulas, and tick "Automatic" in the "Calculation options"

    cheers,

Calculation is not set to manual. Some of the columns with formulas are displayed ok.

Are the cells formatted as text? Change the format to General.
