Replicating the print headers and footers from one sheet to others

Is there a way to replicate the print headers and footers from one sheet to others?

Do you mean when a new sheet is added or into existing sheets?

    The simplest way would be

    =Sheet1!A1
    Hope that helps.

    Maybe this link will help

    http://projectwoman.com/wordpress/20...d-footers.html

To add a header or footer that will print on every page of an Excel workbook, choose View > Header and Footer in Excel 2003 or, in Excel 2007 choose Insert tab > Header & Footer. In Excel 2003 you can select from a range of preset headers and footers which are configured using typical combinations of items usually used in headers or footers – for example, sheet and worksheet names, page numbers, filename and folders.

I thought he was referring to a header row on a Table based on the linked post

Re: Replicating the print headers and footers from one sheet to others

I have header and footer on an existing Sheet1.
(Excel2007 Ctrl-F2, Page Setup, Custom Header & Custom Footer has all fields filled in in Left, Center and Right fields.
Example: Custom footer, center field: Page &[Page] of &[Pages]
When I create a new sheet (tab), is there an easy way to apply the same header/footer data to the newly added sheets from the existing sheet1?

Have you visited the link I suggested?

Seems to me that should help you with what you are asking, or am I missing something?

Yes, I visited that web page. Answer to the question is not there, or I could not find it.
I have logo, special proprietery text, page numbers, etc on Sheet1 header and footer. When I insert new sheet(s), is there an easy way to copy those into the same fields in the newly inserted sheet(s) from Sheet1 without using copy and paste for each individial field?

Have you tried keeping a sheet with the basic data required as a template?

Then rather than inserting a new sheet and copying to it, just copy the Template Sheet and rename the new sheet as required.
This template could be in a separate workbook, I know a few people who keep a special workbook for storing templates and just copy the whole sheet to where-ever they require it.

Yes, that would be the solution. Thanks.
