Normally when I start excel file, my personal.xls will be open at the same time as I store all my micro in this file and I can use them in other files. But recently I find that my excel only open the file I click and the personal.xls no long open together. I need to go to my C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART folder and start the personal.xls file. Anyone know how to set back so that my personal.xls will open together again?

You shouldn't be able to see Personal.xls except in the VB Editor when Excel is open

when I open my excel file said abc.xls , I can see there are two file being opened, abc.xls and personal.xls, but now I can only see there is only one file, that is abc.xls opened. For me to use the save micro, I need to manually open the personal.xls. Anyone know how to set ? my personal.xls is at the folder xlstart.

Open the VB Editor & see if the personal.xls is there
