I am working in Excel 2007. My spreadsheet has over 20 worksheets and probably pver 50 chart tabs. Suddenly something changed where any time I enter data in a previously blank cell it has the symbol for the Euro in front of it. Similar to that of a dollar sign. I can't figure out how it changed or how to chance it back.

Look at your OS system defaults to see if they think you are in a different country by the Format dropdown on the Region and Language dialog.
Mine is in my System Settings Language and Region settings. Did you notice this just after April Fools Day?

I checked my language settings and they are all us based
Then look in the Excel -> Options -> Language settings.
