Red face Drop down list options

    Hello everyone!!

As you can see I have 4 drop down menus with the drop down menu 'Armour', 'Weapon
option 1' and 'Weapon option 2' beign dependant on what option I chose out of the drop
down box marked 'Leader', as well as each option associated numeric value.

I have labeld each range on Sheet 2 apart from the range for the terminator armour
    weapon options.

The weapon options are the same for power armour and artificer armour, but differant for
terminator armour. What I would like to have is after I select the terminator armour option
a differant drop down box appears in Weapon option 1 and Weapon option 2 that is
dependant on the 'Leader' option and 'Armour option.

I have attached a worksheet to hoppfully make things clerear on what I would like to achieve.

I hope I have not confused you to much!!

    Kind regards

Thanks for the link just had a look at it and I think I need to put a counter argument in the weapon option1 and weapon option 2 data validation box. Have no idea how to do this but will give it a go and get back to you later. Thanks again!!

    Hi James,

Not sure we can offer a formula, still don't know the problem or what you may have tried from the last post. Take a look at this sample and let's go from there.

    Re: Drop down list options

    Hi Jeff,

Using your example. Each cell on the right is dependant on the cell to the left.

Lets say for each selection in the 'Classes' list gave us the normal options as well as a 'Universal' option. But if you select the universal option in the 'Types' list then instead of the 'Animals' beign dependant on 'Types' it would have to be dependant on 'Classes' and 'Types' when the universal option was chosen as you would have several different resulsts in the 'Animals' list for 'Universal' depending on the 'Classes' chosen.

I have included your example below updated with the option 'Universal'
