Question Pivot Table - Show Details ("Sum of... ") Not working ?

Okay... so I have created a simple pivot table, see a screenshot attached.
I wish to see the details of the 2 different values (71 and 11). If I double click on either value, I am given a new sheet with the entire 82 records.

What am I doing wrong? I expected to double click (or use Show Details in Excel 2010) and see only the 11 or 71 records.

I have tried searching but could not find anything (and I was having trouble describing my problem).

Thank you for any and all assistance.

your double clicking on the 11 in the Pivot table and it opens up a sheet with more than 11 lines of data?

Send an example of the spreadsheet.

Find attached a file. Look at worksheet "Recap - OTS"

Double click on 67 or 109. It returns a list of 176 records.

You are summing the data; therefore, there will be more than 109 records. If you were counting then it would only show you the 109 records. It is working right.

Re: Pivot Table - Show Details ("Sum of... ") Not working ?

Why is it that when I change the field setting to "Count" it changes the value to 176? I mean, some fields are to be blank if they don't meet the criteria (see formula in colums O through R on Export Worksheet). Is this because the PivotTable sees the formula and "counts" the cell even though the formula does not populate the cell with a "1" ?

Thanks for any explaination and possible solution whereby a PivotTable can still ouput what I need (including the ability to "double click" on a value and return only those records).
