    Conditional Formatting for specific text

I am looking for the formula to use for conditional formatting in the following scenario:

If the specific text entered in cell F15 does is not identical to the specific text in cell F10, then F15 is filled yellow.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Try:

    =NOT(EXACT(F15,F10))
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Re: Conditional Formatting for specific text

Hi, I'm now trying to extend the formula to cover an entire row. How would I adapt it so that:

If F15 does not match F10, then F15 is yellow. If G15 does not match G10, then G15 is yellow. If H15 does not match H10, then H15 is yellow. And so on....

    Thank you again.

Re: Conditional Formatting for specific text [Follow Up Question]

You can copy the F15 and then select the other cells to colour and right click Paste Special and select Formats.
