Protect Sheet / Allow Users to Edit Ranges not working?

    Good day all,
I have a columns G - J that have formulas I want to protect. The user needs to have the ablilty delete rows (which may include deleting data if present in columns G -J), and sort along with the ablity to enter data in columns A - F and K-L.

I have created a range to allow users to edit all aplicable fields and set permissions allowing them to do everything but select cells G-J once the sheet is protected

    The problems are:

    1. Despite having set permission to delete rows and sort, delete and sort greyed out when we try to delete the row or sort.
    2. Rows K - L are also locked for some reason.

I am uploading what I have created. If anyone has suggestions, as always it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Protect Sheet / Allow Users to Edit Ranges not working?

Edit. Okay, I figured out a very simple way to do this. Which was to Go To Special and select formulas then lock the page without selecting Allow Users to Edit Ranges and this works well. However, it still requires me to remove the protection to delete the rows since formulas are on some of the rows. Any suggestions?
