how to reference cell within a range of sheets

the sheets will be from day 1 of a month to whichever day I'm on on a given sheet, so I need to know how to reference the last sheet in the range, rather than a specific sheet(day). so it would be something like this:

=sum('1'!a1:'(latest sheet)') , or however you would do a range of sheets

    Thanks in advance

make a blank sheet called say end! make sure its always the last sheet then use
    =SUM('1:end'!A1)
