Adding percentage to a cell in multiple worksheets

I have a number of workbooks with multiple data sheets in them. I would like to group the worksheets together, select the same cell in each sheet and tell it to add 3% to the current value in the cell. Once the value has been updated, I would like to save the cell as a value rather than as a formula.

How would I go about doing this? Any help would be most gratefully accepted!

Did you try using the macro recorder at all?
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?
Have a look at this article to learn the best ways to set up your projects.
It will save both time and effort in the long run!

I did not. I am not familiar with writing macros and am unsure of how to go about wording it so that I get the results I need.

Re: Adding percentage to a cell in multiple worksheets

I have no clue what I am doing. I have made the attempt at creating the macro, but the initial formula creates a 0 due to the circular reference error and I don't know enough about Excel to prevent it from returning a zero.

I'm sure that there is a way to get a cell to mulitply itself, I just don't know how to go about doing that which means that my macro won't run properly even if I did have it worded correctly.

Since the employees have different wage rates depending on their position, I can't enter a specific number to be multiplied. I need the cell itself to be multiplied so I can just run the macro any time there is a blanket wage increase.

I have attached the workbook for reference on the mess I have created.

Thanks again for any help that can be given!
