    Tidying a list

    Hello all

Any ideas for an approach to this. I have a set of data arranged in rows, which I want to tidy so that there are no gaps in the columns on the individual rows.

Please see attached workbook - "start" is what I begin with and "end" is how I want it to end up.

Needless to say I am actually dealing with a huge range of data so need to find an elegant solution rather than just cutting and pasting manually. And I can't do anything about the format of the raw data.

Any help very much appreciated, as this really has me stuck.

    I'm on Excel 2003.

    Thanks.

select them all then edit/goto special blanks
    then delete shift cells left
