Smile Conditional formatting or IF statement

Hi guys ... been trying to figure this one out for a little while, but havent come up with the solution yet, instead have got myself a work around which is doing for now.

What I want to do is have Column I Row 6 downwards with the following options,

    Acknowledge
    In Progress
    Completed
    Rejected
    Cancelled

what i basically want is ...

IF Acknowledge OR In Progress ... fill the cell with the light yellow fill colour.

IF Completed fill with the bright green fill colour and strikethrough the text(which is each and I have this one)

IF Rejected OR Cancelled fill the Cell with bright red

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks

Re: Conditional formatting or IF statement

    Use the following conditional formats:

    =OR(I6="Acknowledge", I6="In Progress")

and the same with rejected/cancelled. Then set the format you desire.
