Dear Forum,

I want to be able to send out my invoice directly from excel from now on.
This involves having a background that, when printing, will cover the entire A4 sheet.

My problem is NOT adding a background, but making the background image exactly as large as the A4 page.

* I have set the page to A4
* I have an A4-sized image for the background

* I have used the official method to add watermarks (excel help: watermarks)

There is always a white rim that is left around the background. how can I get rid of that?

I hope my question is clear. Thanks for your help!

Please post a sample file to illustrate your problem.

Also, be aware that printers cannot print to the very edge of the paper. A printed page will always have a few mm white margin. How wide that margin is will depend on the capabilities of the printer. If you need to print right to the edge of the paper, you will need to employ the services of a professional print shop. They will print on larger paper (which will also have a blank area around the edges) and then cut the paper to A4 size.

You cannot print to the edge of the paper with a regular office equipment type printer.
