Maintain Pivot Chart Formatting (Excel 2010)

Researching the interwebs I saw plently of reference to Pivot Charts not maintaining their formatting after refresh...but these all seemed to apply to Office 2003 and earlier.

My problem is, I have a Pivot Chart with multiple data series that use difference axes and are different graph types (surface and line). Looks great until I use the "Report Filter" to drive down into the data...everything gets reset back to the default settings.

Anyone know if this has been fixed in Excel 2007 or 2010? I'm not adding new a new data series or columns...so it seems like this is logically pretty straight forward to not have Excel be able to handle it.

    Thanks for your help!

Excel 2007 and 2010 use a whole new graphics engine.

I'm currently using 2010 Excel and it has new sparklines and is all-around easier to use than 2007, IMHO.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
