In the test sheet I need to fill column B from the bottom up. I need to have the number in row 39 auto fill upward until it runs into a number different than itself. And of course have that process repeated all the way up the spreadsheet...
Any ideas?

The easiest method is to highlight the range in col B
F5 >> Special >> Blanks
Press equal sign >> down arrow one time >> ctrl + enter

when i highlight the range and press F5, special then select blanks I get no cells were found.
Try selecting the range and then run the TrimAll macro then take the first steps again
Or
In C39 put: 3
In C38 put: =IF(B38="",C39,B38) and drag it up
Now copy C1:C38 and Paste Special - Values at B1
Now delete C1:C39
