[NOT SOLVABLE] Cells Within Cells/ Multidimensional Cells/ Sub Cells/ Embedded Tables

    Hello,

I have an Excel sheet of vocabulary words. The Sort function is useful for sorting the words into alphabetical order.

Some of the words have various forms or declensions which I would like to somehow store in a sub level of the main word.

For example, I hope to create a cell with the Finnish word "aamunkoi", and in the sub cells you would find the various forms of the word as listed here: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/aamunkoi .

Is this or something to the same effect possible? Any idea how Wikipedia stores all of those tables?

    Thank you in advance.

    Dear ChemistB,

Thanks a lot for your input. I checked out both of those options, but neither seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. I need a kind of sub cell storage that's easily accessible and can also be easily exported to other office programs via macros like ordinary whole cells. Because sub-cells don't exist, the best option is probably going to be to just give each word form it's own full cell.

I don't know much about Microsoft Access, do you? Do you think it would be more suited for such a task?

I'm going to check it out.

    Thanks again,
    ML
