Setting Maximum & minimum values on a Sumif

    Afternoon

I've looked through the forum and can't seem to find an answer for how to set maximum and minimum values to a SUMIF where these values are held in other cells.

The minimum value is fixed for all rows while the maximum needs to read off a seperate list. For example
    Minimum set in cell A1
    Maximum set in cell A2:10 & B2:10 e.g.
    Site A 5
    Site B 10

    Current formula I have is:
    =SUMIF($AX$4:$AX$692,'Vol By Day'!CU2071,AZ$4:AZ$692)
Everytime I try and insert Max/Min its feeding back errors and I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

Edit: Not sure above is possible, have found a way round it useing IF & VLOOKUPS reading off a SUM.
