Populating cells based on drop box

How can I populate a cell based on what is selected in the drop box?

In my worksheet, I made dropboxes for parts of a computer and I want to populate the cells next to them with the price corresponding to what is selected in the dropbox. It's the second worksheet in the attachment. It should be called "Custom Chart"

Hi Xer, welcome to the forum.

I'd suggest something: Create one list of parts/prices in a two column table rather than separate lists for each type of part. This way you can use one VLOOKUP formula to get the price for any part.

See the updated attachment with one parts table in columns E:F, and a VLOOKUP function in B7:B16.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks. I figured it out earlier using a longer method. I used VLOOKUP from the multiple lists I had up already. Next time I'll use your method. It seems a lot easier :P

Also, how can I make another dropbox dependent on the first dropbox? For example. Type of part (dropbox) -> part (dropbox)-> price
