    MS Excel 2010 crashes

I'm new to this forum and to ms excel 2010 so my apologies if this has been covered before. I using Windows XP and recently installed MS Office 2010 Home and Business edition. All working well with MS updates applied installed ect..
I came to run Excel and its keeps crashing when trying to open my data which was created in 2003 version. I ran options and uninstalled the bluetooth add on as well as running RegEdit and changing the registry entry for excel to disable to registry key for loadbehaviour. Have also run the repair option from the MS Office ** but still no luck
I also run MS Office 2010 on my Win 7 laptop and all programs inc excel work fine.
Does anyone have any ideas for this annoying problem?

    Regards

    Richard _G

Hi Richard_G and welcome to the forum,

    Searching the net, I find

But - In the back of my mind is needing to install SP2. Have you updated your OS and Office products with the latest patches?

One test is worth a thousand opinions.
