Excel 2007 : Find duplicate values comparing in two columns

Dear All,

I have attached sample file . where there are three columns, country , fruit and quantity. I want when the name in column country and fruit match and repeated as highlighted in yellow it should give warning as duplicate or the first entry should delete automatically. Kindly help.

Given use of XL2007...

Clear existing background format from your sample [ie no fill]

Highlight table B5:D13 (with B5 selected as starting point) and subsequently apply following Conditional Format rule:

If created correctly you should find that if you change C5 from Apple to Mango the formatting alters accordingly (rows 5 & 6 rather than 5 & 13)

Thank you very much for quick response. But i need something more.

In Excel 2007 by removing duplicate value option , duplicate values can be removed. But the problem is it is removing the new entry.when i want to remove old entry and it should remove automatically everytime

I think it need some macro to run. Kindly advise

I found the attached file on excel forum. Here when i click the rectangle the code is working as i need. But it is checking only column A. where my requirement is it sholud compare two columns and then if the entry repeat it sholud delete the first entry and reatain the last one. Kindly help to amend this macro.
