    Locking and protecting

I have a large worksheet with many formulas. I'm trying to lock the cells that contain the formulas so that the users can't inadvertently key over one. The problem is that when I get done, I get a message saying that evereything is read only. I must be missing a step somewhere. Help.....

    Thanks in advance.

    OK.....problem solved...!!!!
Now how do I add the "solved" message?

Before marking as solved, please explain what you did to fix it so others can learn.

To mark as solved, click the Edit button in your original post in this thread, click Go Advanced, and change the drop-down that says 'No Prefix' to 'SOLVED' and then submit.
