Percentage Formula

Hi all been a little while.

I need a formula to put in lots of cells, based on the availabilty on certain applications.

So 10080 minutes up time would be 100%, is there a way if I can enter 10080 and it will display as 100%, 5040 will equal 50% etc etc.

Hope that makes sense.

0.00, 0.01 etc right up to 100.

I know I could just add a second column and do for example 5040 over 10080, just wondered if it was possible.

in A1 is 10080; A2 is 5040, A3 is 2520, etc.
As you suggest, in 2nd column (B2) , =A2/A$1 -format B2 column as % and copy formula in B2 down

Yeah, just wondered if there was a way somewhere on the spreadsheet I could tell it 10080 is 100% so that any value would against that, so if I entered 5040 it would make it 50%.

Anyway, i'll just go with what I suggested above.
