    read only update of anothers spreadsheet

    We just got upgraded to excel 2007 this week and one thing I have not been able to find is the update button...I am in read only of someone elses sheet and want to see as they make changes....where is the update button?

    Is the refresh data for updating a shared sheet or just updated a data feed from a outside source?

    again, using a file that is on a shared company network, opened in read only, once user has made changes, is there a way without having to close and reopening the workbook, to update to see the current/lastest version?

    have you checked the Review Tab, Track Changes

    Yes it is "greyed" out on a read only file....dont understand why
