Unwanted page breaks

Hi,

I am having an issue with automatic page breaks being inserted in a worksheet.
I am trying to create a long worksheet without page breaks, about 220 rows long.
When I try to drag the automatic page break down the page to remove it, as I cannot delete it, a message pops up saying :
"Microsoft Office Excel cannot move the page break because doing so would reduce the scale to below the minimum 10%."
When I click on the Page Layout tab I see the Width and Height are both set on "Automatic"
and the Scale is on 10%.
What do I have to do to allow me to create a long, one page worksheet without any automatic page breaks being inserted ? I am sure I have done this before with an earlier version on Excel, but can't remember how.

not sure if this will help but can you go to options and remove check mark from page break

I went to options - advanced and scrolled down to "Display options for this worksheet" - found the box next to "Show page breaks" but the lettering was a very light color, indicating it was not active. When I hovered the cursor over it a window message appeared saying : "This option is not available for the view this worksheet is in." Any idea what that means ?
