How to filter for word in text cell? ie "mental" not "environmental"

    Hi,
I am trying to use the custom auto-filter to search for specific words in a text cell. I have the filter almost working except that when I search for a word like "mental" I also get all words like "environmental", "supplemental", "fundamental" etc.

I can't use EQUALS function because I want to get results that include "mental" in a sentence but I don't know exactly what the sentence might be.

For example, I would want to get a result from:
"psychosocial and mental health support for children"
    "mental disorder training for doctors"
    but not results such as:
    "environmental impacts"
    "intergovernmental workshopping"

I could do DOES NOT INCLUDE "enviro" etc but there are too many to list and I might miss some.

    Any help much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Assuming your cells don't have the speech marks at the beginning and end of each string, these criteria worked based upon the examples you have:

The underscores above represent spaces - I had to include them like that to demonstrate the criteria clearly on the post. When you type the criteria into your custom filter, use a space instead of an underscore.
    Hope that helps,

    Colin
