    HLOOKUP formula keeps giving me a value error

    Please See attached,

    On the the 'MI Totals' tab there are three tables which are linked to the other tab 'MI Weeks 1-10'.

    The bottom two tables on the MI totals have basic formula's which are working.

    It is the 1st table where i am having problems with this HLOOKUP. In Cell C2 is a drop down menu where you can choose what week to view, in turn it should show you the data for that week. As you can see it is producing a value error.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The final parameter should resolve to TRUE or FALSE (True if you want it to find the nearest match, False if you want an exact match)

    Changing that fixes the error, but I don't think returns the value you want - I think you need an INDEX/MATCH formula.

    thanks for the quick response. I have not used that type of formula before?!? How would you write this index/match?

    In cell D3 on the MI totals sheet seems to work. How's that for you?

    brilliant that is pulling the number through now, great!! If i wanted to change Cell C2 so it shows a different Week is there another formula so that whatever week i choose it will show that week?

    So long as the weeks always have the same labels in column C and headers in columns D:J then you should get away with:
