I am trying to average a large set of rolling data, i need to average 6 numbers at a time in a given set as follows, i am trying to average every six hours continuously Any help would be appreciated
Column A - Column B
8/16/2011 00:00 - 160000
8/16/2011 01:00 - 150000

I'm not sure how your data is formatted. If you have data every hour, and only on the hour, you could simply have a cell in column C to average the last 6 data points, such as
If your data is not evenly distributed in time, the solution will be different although certainly doable.
