Track unique changes in two tables/ranges.

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to highlight changes from an original spreadsheet in Excel please?

See file attached, the original range is on the left, new range on the right, I have bolded the values that have changed in G7 & H7, however, how can I get Excel to do this automatically?

    Thanks

    Hi

Use Conditional Formatting as in the attached workbook

    Select cells G4:H7
    Rule G4<>B4
    Format

    Hi Adam

Select the range of cells to which you want the CF applied.
Conditional Formatting>New Rule>Use a formula to determine which cells to format>Enter the formula>>Format>select Bold font

In the Workbook I attached, if you choose Manage Rules, instead of New Rule you will see the formula I set up.. You then have the option to Edit the rule and /or change the range of cells to which the CF applies.
